5. Click “Search” The inmate’s DOC number gives you more specific details of the inmate you want. If you enter the inmate’s first or last name and click “Search,” several inmates bearing the name will appear.  
6. Scroll down or up to get to the inmate you want. On this page, you’ll find inmate information, such as DOC number, name, gender, race, date of birth, and correctional facility. 
7. If you want more details on the inmate, click on the name. Some of the information you’ll get there include:

• Sex and Violent Offender Lookup 

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections has a separate site where all sex and violent offenders are registered upon entry into any correctional facility in the state. Information on sex and violent offenders is available to the public. That means you can conduct an inmate search on the site.  

All sex and violent offenders register with the DOC, parole, and probation office. The Oklahoma Department of Corrections provides precise data on sex and violent offenders. The department updates the information to give the most accurate inmate data. 

The website allows users to search for specific offenders by name or obtain a listing of offenders by various combinations such as county, city, crime, appearance, etc. Users can also obtain a listing of offenders within a specified Oklahoma zip code or within a defined radius of an address. Additionally, users can register for the Community Notification system so that they can be notified by email when a registered sex offender moves into the specified radius of the address submitted.

The Oklahoma Sex Offender Registry categorizes sex offenders into three levels based on their risk of re-offense. Level 1 offenders pose a low danger to the community and are required to register for fifteen years following expiration of their sentence. Level 2 offenders pose a moderate danger to the community and are required to register for twenty-five years following expiration of their sentence. Level 3 offenders pose a serious danger to the community and will continue to engage in criminal sexual conduct. All offenders are flagged according to these designations on the website.

Habitual, aggravated, and Level 3 sex offenders are required to verify their home address every ninety days, Level 2 offenders semiannually, and Level 1 offenders annually. It is common for offenders to move and fail to notify the Department of Corrections or their local law enforcement agency of their new address. However, failure to register and comply with the Act is a felony offense punishable by up to five years in prison.

While the Oklahoma Department of Corrections updates the registry daily to provide the most complete and accurate information, it is important to note that information changes quickly and much of the information contained in a registration record has been provided by the registrant. Neither the Oklahoma Department of Corrections nor local law enforcement agencies can guarantee the accuracy of this information at all times.
